Pacific Center for Advanced Technology Training (PCATT) has served as a leader in workforce development and advanced technology training since 2001. We work with students, instructors, and administrators from public and private educational institutions across the state of Hawaii. PCATT faculty, and PCATT staff together design, plan, implement, and host technology training classes (contract and open enrollment), professional development workshops, conferences, hackathons, and community activities.

PCATT IT Symposium 2019, Learning for Careers at the Human-Technology Frontier will take place on May 23 through May 24 in Honolulu. Pre-conference workshops run May 22.

Honolulu CC is the administrative HQ for PCATT:
  • Consortium of the UH Community Colleges
  • NSA/DHS National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense
  • NSF Advanced Technology Education Project: Data Analytics Pathway Development

During the IT Symposium, we will focus on three main topics:
  1. Best practices in Data Analytics Education, with an emphasis on Cybersecurity
  2. Latest Curriculum and Roadmap Updates from Cisco Academy, PCATT, CAE, and NSF.
